The bulletin is already limited to 14 pages. More pages cannot be added onto. Five of those pages make up the announcements of the bulletin directed at giving attention to ministries. Parish Functions, Religious Education Functions & School Functions take priority over other ministry events.
All Saints registered ministries have priority over other groups and every ministry is important in our community. If the announcement is required in English and Spanish, it must be submitted in both languages already properly translated.
All bulletin submissions are ultimately approved by the Pastor. He or the qualified staff will review all entries before printing.
Any full-page or longer entries have a deadline of 3 weeks prior to distribution and will only be accepted as bulletin inserts (this means a loose page inside the bulletin).
There are two ways to do this:
1) Through J.S. Paluch by speaking with Sergio, the Bulletin Editor first. J.S. Paluch requires 2 weeks prior notification, and no conflicts with the Liturgy or other events. Add another week just to get approved by us, and that is 3 weeks’ notice. There is an additional fee charge for one-page inserts by J.S. Paluch. This additional fee will have to be incurred by the Ministry and will be determined based on the date, etc. A check must paid to All Saints for the total balance, or you must check with accounting to see if you have the funds available.
2) The 2nd Option is through the ministries ‘own effort. Ministries that want to place an insert into the bulletin, must supply their own copies and are allowed to manually insert themselves Saturday Morning before the Masses begin (its takes a group of 9 persons 45 minutes to accomplish this task). This must be scheduled with Sergio 4-6 weeks prior to doing so. The bulletin editor has every authority to reject the task should it conflict with a liturgical event, or against something wanting to be highlighted by the Pastor. It is important all events not detract from the celebration of the Liturgy which takes priority.
ALL requests for one page inserts will be specifically pre-approved by the Pastor only. Approval is a rare occasion, so do not expect this.
Solicitation of Sponsors
Advertisements of sponsors in any ministry events are not permitted under any circumstances in the bulletin or pulpit announcements (or within the confinements of the Parish, or its functions). All entries with information regarding a sponsor will be rejected unless specifically approved by the Pastor (Fr. Liam Quinn) or the Principal of All Saints School (Mrs. Toni McNamara) for any school related activities.
